In talking with my sister about the kind of paintings that I love to look at -- paintings by my favorite artists -- we have both concluded that I have a strong draw toward images with roads, paths, rivers, creeks, or even ocean roads in them. Now I'm trying to figure out why. Hmmm.

Something to do with my life or spiritual journey, perhaps? Making my way “home?” Whatever it is, getting out into the country always gives me an inspirational lift, and I find great pleasure in painting what moves me.
